Delete account
This is a courtesy English translation of the German original (

This page fulfils Google Play's requirement that account and data deletion must be possible, or at least explained, through a publicly reachable web page even without the app.
1. Delete in the app (recommended)
You can delete your own account completely and immediately from within the app:
- Open Settings.
- In the "Account" section, tap "Delete account".
- Confirm the safety prompt. If your account is linked with Apple or Google, the app asks you to sign in again with that provider at this point (that sign-in must be at most a few minutes old, otherwise it is repeated).
- Confirm "Delete permanently".
The app then shows the confirmation "Your account has been deleted." and signs you back in anonymously afterwards if you want to keep playing.
2. What is deleted, and when
Technically, deletion runs in two steps, so that it reliably completes even after an interruption:
- Immediately: Your account is blocked for new sign-ins; access tokens already issued are invalidated.
- After about 65 minutes: Your profile, all daily-puzzle game saves, your statistics, all leaderboard entries, open and closed reports about or by you, and your moderation history are permanently deleted. Your Firebase Auth account is removed. If the account was linked with Apple or Google, the app additionally revokes the sign-in authorisation with that provider.
After completing these two steps, per the architecture no trace of your account remains findable in Firestore or Firebase Authentication — with the exceptions named below.
On your device, the app also deletes your Endless and Archive game saves, local statistics, word bridge history and blocked players; puzzle files you already downloaded and plain UI settings are kept (they contain no personal data).
3. What remains longer, for technical reasons
Some data sits outside our control at Google and cannot be removed immediately by an account deletion. We are explicitly disclosing this:

Deletion "without any trace" is technically not possible because of the first three rows; we are disclosing this explicitly. Details and legal bases: Privacy Policy, sections 14–16.
4. Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have the app installed, or can no longer access your account, you can request deletion of, or access to, your data by e-mail:

- your User ID for support from Settings → Account → User ID for support (tapping it copies it to the clipboard; it identifies your account uniquely, even without a display name),
- the puzzle language you play,
- roughly since when, or until when, you used the app.
We confirm receipt and complete the deletion; our internal target is a response within 24 hours.
